Photo-catalytic Oxidation Process
(PCO)
- PCO uses 254 nanometres UV-C light which reacts with a film of titanium dioxide, which creates hydroxyl radicals and super-oxide ions.
- The hydroxyl radicals accelerate the breakdown of most Volatile Organic Compounds (VOC's) including formaldehyde, nitrogen dioxide by destroying the molecular bonds.
- PCO technology is an extremely powerful and effective purification method, as complete air is being treated at its source before recirculation.
